Donations make it all possible Donations make it all possible

Book Gifting is the most costly of the three programs sponsored by Tweener Ministries for it is financed totally with Tweener Ministries funds. The expenses for the mentoring program is handled by the sponsoring churches. The cost for the chapter book competition is shared by Bethel College, Joshua Expeditions, Baker Trittin Press, and iDesign, but the printing and mailing expenses must be paid by Tweener Ministries.

The Book Gifting Program conducted byTweener Ministries offers an opportunity for individuals and organizations to donate books to tweeners and other individuals in dire need of elementary grade reading materials who do not have the resources to pay for them.

Many organizations will accept books that present moral values but will not purchase them if there is a distinctive Christian slant. Orphanages, Big Brother Big Sister, detention centers, and prisons are included in this group. Many in that list received books in 2005, our first Christmas.

Since then we have sold at cost and donated hundreds of books  to parachurch ministries like Child Evangelism Fellowship. Tweener Ministries, Inc., a 501c3 charitable organization, relies totally upon the generousity of individuals, businesses, and organizations to finance these gifts.
